Jane's Fund Donation - £20
Jane Austen’s House is the most treasured Austen site in the world. Here in this modest village house Jane Austen lived for the last eight years of her life, and here she revised, wrote and published her six extraordinary novels.
We are devoted to caring for Jane’s precious home and preserving it for future generations to visit, enjoy and be inspired by. However, as a historic, Grade 1 listed building the house requires constant upkeep, and at the moment vital building repairs are required to ensure that the fabric of the house does not deteriorate further.
As an independent museum with no regular funding, we rely on ticket sales, grants and donations to keep going. It is a labour of love and one that we are proud to be entrusted with.
Your donation today will support us to continue this vital work. Be a part of the story.
